Excellent Flash!

Very touching and moving flash movie. The end caught me by surprise and possibly could have been shortened to just the first set of words there about us not getting second chances. That would have been short and sweet and to the point and probably made a bigger impact over all without trying to defend that statement afterwards through what could possibly be interpreted as a political message. That way you're not maybe alienating some of the viewers who might support war if only somewhat ironically to prevent all out anarchy. Of course then there's the possibility that even the first message about no second chances could be discarded by someone who believes in reincarnation or the afterlife. /sigh. Definately more power to you for being brave enough to say it like you mean it vs. trying to be politically correct about it. But over all still a great movie and very touching and one I'll watch again and again, I'm sure.

The sprites were well done and doing them backwards was really cool to watch.

After reading some other reviews I realized why he jumped in the lava, which puzzled me at first but if you connect it to the broken heart later in the movie (after going in reverse) it becomes obvious. Really great idea there and made the movie all the more touching. Keep up the good work!

funny!

Great stuff as usually usual. Love the little red wagon bit! That's a laugh riot! Been trying to find one of your recent (?) flashes that had Frank Sinatra's head spinning around singing "When I was seventeen" (and had lol on his forehead) but I can't seem to find it. Guess I'll keep looking back through these so I can add to favorites. That one was really funny and creative too! Anyway keep up the good work.

great stuff!

Love the TMNT spoofs! Glad you put some of the old stuff in there because I've been wondering if you were going to do a "best of daily2oons" sometime. Haven't viewed them all (too many!) but seen quite a bit and alot of these are very funny for what little effort must have gone into them, while many of the more complex ones are also very impressive. Either way, alot of work or little work I love the creativity and randomness. The birthday one the other day really made me laugh when the same tune and mostly same graphic was used on a menu selection but all that changed was the star graphic. LoL! That was about the best laugh I had in a long time! Anyway keep up the good work and I hope you make another season.

Awesome!

I've always loved your style of artwork and character voices and choice of material for your flash toons. I don't want to spoil any of the jokes in this but will say that the answer to what's the universe's true name really cracked me up! Also: "You gave this entry a 5, raising its score from 3.6300 to 3.6344!" Wow! 44-thousanths, and I was hoping it would go up by 44-hundredths at the least. Well, as usual great work from you and hope to see more soon.

funny stuff!

I didn't get it about daily toons at first but I've about died laughing at some of the stuff you guys come up with. "Blues Clues", teenage mutant ninja octopus, and recently that happy birthday one - too funny. I think alot of these are just very creative and outrageously funny for what little effort it looks like went into them. I think some people just misunderstand the comedy aspect of it but I hope you keep making flash movies even if you guys stop making the daily toons stuff. You mentioned it'll be over soon. Is there going to be a new title for these or you ran out of space or got in trouble for these or what?

We just end it after each season (100 episodes). We are ending our second season. Whether we are going to have a third will be decided later. Of course, we will definitely be making movies outside of Daily2oons. Some authors have already met a lot of success outside of Daily2oons.

good work!

I wouldn't worry too much about negative comments about the Spahish. Spanish isn't easy or for everyone, I got a D in it myself when I took the class in high school, yet aced other subjects like math and history. Go figure. I liked the simplicity of the animation but more importantly how you put it all together. Alot of flash toons don't have any point to them at all. At least you followed through with a simple plotline, and followed it up with credits. True, not the best flash on newgrounds but for a school project I think it's pretty good, and who knows, a friend of mine who was once terrible at Spanish wound up speaking it fluently many years after his Spanish class, so don't give up because of a few mean comments here. Good work!

funny!

This gave me a good laugh. The randomness really added to the humor, and I love the style. Only thing is I wish this was a bit longer and had a few more random scenes in it to keep the laughs going - if humor is what you were after here, and I think that's a safe guess... chainsaws in the old west! What a riot! Keep up the good work.

this was only the first of many collaborations between me and my brother, keep your eyes up for the next.

loved it!

This was great! Loved your other darker toons as well. The part where they ban tv through a sudden, rude interruption into the home and then play a congratulatory recording was really funny. That part reminded me of something out of the movie "Brazil." Great stuff! Keep up the good work. Being able to turn the captions on or off was also a nice touch. I can understand the voice acting just fine but captions are nice sometimes for those of us (like myself) whose ears aren't trained to register some of the British slang. Great work. Hope to see more from you though I'm sure this stuff takes alot of time and effort to put out but it's much appreciated I assure you.
